National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Instituted by Board of Apprenticeship Training / Practical Training Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India Apprenticeship The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is Government of India sponsored training program aiming at providing skills to fresh graduates, diploma holders in engineering & technology and + 2 vocational pass out candidates. This is a one-year program where the selected candidates undergo both classroom (theory) and on the job-training (practical) training to learn new skills, which will facilitate the candidates to get suitable jobs in the areas of their interest. Solely the Apprentices Act 1961 governs the selected candidates. Many companies engages fresh graduates, diploma holders in engineering & technology from the following branches of engineering & technology Civil Engineering Computer Science
APSSDC - Webinars on Higher Education in US, Europe and India
APSSDC in Collobaration with IUCEE is planing to conduct three webinars on Carrier guidance to make students understand What are the different options of higher education after completing B Tech.
- India and Europe/Commonwealth: Learn about higher education opportunities in India, including autonomous institutions; IIT; IISc, NIT and IIM. Also, learn about higher education opportunities in Commonwealth countries and Europe, including seven European countries where tuition is generally free. Also included: the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

- US: Learn about higher education opportunities in the United States and Canada. For students who are strongly considering applying to US schools, this is an advanced practical workshop in a classroom setting and includes a live demo. Students are invited to bring their laptops/tablets to follow along. You will learn about field of study selection and locating institutions close to job clusters so that you have better chances of obtaining internships and jobs.

- SOP/Essay Writing: For students who are strongly considering applying to US schools, this is a practical workshop in a classroom setting to train them on how to write cover letters, Statements of Purpose and Personal History Statements.
